Catherine was a great host. She provided us with clear instructions on how to check in, she also sent us a list of recommendations. Her place was clean and matched the description and best of all it was close to everything. We walked to every place since it was a short distance to coffee shops, pike market and the pier. Thank you Catherine for being such an attentive host!

We stayed here for a long weekend so that my in-laws could visit grandkids who recently moved to the city. They are in their late 80s so having the communal spaces and bedrooms all on one floor was key. The big windows provided lots of natural light, temperature was always comfortable inside the home, and everyone felt like they had lots of space to relax. My husband was able to work comfortably from the office, which is nicely separated from the main living area. Our ridgeback enjoyed the extra padding under the soft rugs/carpeting. And my in-laws appreciated having their own bathroom and a generous bedroom. Linens were soft, extra blankets were provided for cozy moments on the couch, and the towels were fluffy. Hot water was readily available and the shower felt like a spa. Everyone commented on how cozy the home felt, how much thought went into conveniences and amenities, and I benefitted from extra brownie points as a daughter-in-law. Yay.

We stayed at Catherine’s place as part of a family gathering. It was perfect. Great bedrooms and a first rate kitchen and dining area. It is also in a very fun part of town. Catherine is also a wonderful responsive host.

The home felt incredibly cozy — exactly what I was looking for. I’m from Issaquah, Washington, but I’ve always dreamed of moving to Ballard someday. Staying here really motivated me to take that next step toward where I want to be in the future. The space was small but very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. My boyfriend and I loved our stay! I also really appreciated that Casper and his family put together a short PowerPoint with house rules and local recommendations — such a thoughtful touch that shows how much they care about making guests feel at home. It was comforting knowing they lived right upstairs, which made the space feel safe and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to experience Ballard for a week or two, or anyone wanting a cozy getaway in the city!

We got there & immediately knew this was well worth the choice for a weekend of football and seeing the city, it’s an enjoyable 15 minute walk over to the Public Market with many other places that are nearby. The inside is cleanly decorated with a good bed/living room, not to mention good natural lighting/windows that show a nice greenery view. Catherine is very kind & pro-active with making sure you have all you need as far as bathroom/kitchen items go along with multiple clean towels & sheets, i recommend 100% 🙏🏻

I use AirBnb quite a lot when on trips. One of the things that I worry about are hosts that over exaggerate how perfect their place is, come to find out was so further from the truth. Catherine's place was as described, and we were pleasantly impressed. Someplace where I would stay again

We rented the extra space so the brides maids could get ready for the wedding. It could not have worked out better since we already had the upstairs. Great location and very clean!

Great Airbnb for one or two people in Ballard. Catherine was a very responsive host and made everything easy. The space was clean, with a private entrance and fast Wi-Fi that worked perfectly for remote work. Parking was simple and never an issue. The location had easy access, and overall the stay couldn’t have been better. Thank you, Catherine!
